CYS Committees

The Children and Youth Safety office works with two committees, an advisory and a program directors committee, to assure the sustainability and continual improvements of the Children and Youth at Cornell programming. These two committees support compliance with University Policy 8.8, Children and Youth Safety assist in risk reduction efforts, and enhance the children and youth programming at Cornell University.

CYS Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee provides expert advice and support to policy changes, problematic compliance issues, and guidance that helps program directors solve day-to-day problems.

CYS Program Directors Committee

This Committee consists of program directors that oversee and guides the logistics of children and youth programs and the implementation of University policies to the day-to-day operations of the children and youth programs. Program Directors Committee is a partner-shared opportunity for them to receive training, awareness, and troubleshoot logistics with other program directors.
