A Message for Youth Participants
Cornell University is committed to ensuring that the programs it runs for youth are safe programs. If at any time you are unsure whether behavior directed towards you is inappropriate, let us know by:
- Talking to a trust adult in your program
- Talking to the director of your program
- Talking to your parent or guardian

Safe Programs Have Rules
All youth participants must adhere to the following rules to maintain safety for everyone within Cornell's programs:
- The possession or use of alcohol and other drugs, fireworks, guns and other weapons, and sexually explicit material is prohibited.
- Participants may not leave University premises or the program location without consent.
- Participants are prohibited from engaging in acts of violence, sexual abuse, or harassment.
- Hazing is prohibited.
- Bullying, including verbal, physical, and cyber bullying are prohibited.
- The use of tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited.
- Misuse, damage, or theft of property is prohibited.
- The use of cameras, imaging, and digital devices is prohibited in areas where privacy is expected, such as showers, locker rooms, and restrooms.
- Sexual activity is prohibited in Cornell University programs.
You may be suspended or dismissed from your program for violating these rules.
