Post Program Review and Checklist
Post Program Review
A structured post-program review helps program directors evaluate program effectiveness, identify emerging risks, document lessons learned, and improve future program operations. Reviews should be conducted as soon as practical following program completion while information is still fresh.
Topics for review may include:
- Injuries, illnesses, and other incidents
- Behavioral concerns and disciplinary issues
- Supervision challenges
- Emergency responses and near misses
- Participant, family, and staff feedback
- Training needs and opportunities for improvement
- Recommendations for future program operations
Program directors are encouraged to document lessons learned and incorporate improvements into future planning.
