Children’s Camps in New York State

Some youth programs may be subject to New York State regulations governing children’s camps. Program directors are responsible for determining whether these requirements apply to their program by consulting the appropriate county health department. YPAC does not make any children’s camp regulatory determinations.

Programs that meet the definition of a children’s camp may be subject to additional state and local requirements. For more information, visit the Department of Health Children’s Camps in New York State website, and contact the county health department where the program will operate.
